Uwezo Uganda is conducting the 2026 National Learning Assessment, integrating the measurement of life skills and values among children aged 4–16 years. The assessment aims to generate independent data on children’s learning outcomes and trigger discussions and actions to holistically improve the quality of learning outcomes. The assessment will be carried out in two phases: 27 July-02 August 2026 and 03 August - 09 August 2026, across a total of 29 districts and in 24 households within each of the 15 sampled Enumeration Areas (EAs) per district.
